Long-time Detroit sports bloggers and podcasters, Greg Eno (aka the man who knows a lot of things about a lot of things), and Big Al Beaton are The Knee Jerks! You can now listen to the Knee Jerks on Stitcher, along with iTunes and Blog Talk Radio. Join The Knee Jerks new Facebook group! It's all Knee Jerks all the time this week as Greg and Big Al run the gamut in all things Detroit sports. Topics include: Wash, rinse, repeat - Lions start frustratingly slow, finish fast, proceed to beat the Cardinals 35-23 in come-from-behind fashion. Kenny Golladay lives up to the hype…for one game, anyway. The Lions’ defense carries the offense…for one game, anyway. Despite what a vocal minority in the fan base thinks about his record contract, Matthew Stafford is a franchise QB and played like one against the Cardinals. Tigers GM Al Avila dives head-first into a full rebuild, dealing iconic Tiger Justin Verlander to the Astros and Justin Upton to the Angels for prospects at the waiver trade deadline. Fans got what they asked for. The Tigers went all in on prospects and are playing the kids. It's the right thing to do, but....the Tigers are also 22 games under .500, 26 games back and on track for a top-5 draft pick. Get ready for more of the same in the foreseeable future. As always, Eno and Big Al also play The Birthday Game and name their Jerk of the Week!
