Eno and Big Al celebrate Independence Day by welcoming Mike Donnelly to the show. Mike, a former NHL player and currently serves in a player development role for LA Kings, talks about playing for the late Ron Mason at Michigan State, his playing career and his life working with young players for the Kings. In the second half of the show the Jerks talk both NHL and NBA free agency, as the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons were both active in the open market. One team appears to have a plan and followed it to the letter, while the other was forced to go to Plan B, C and D while just trying to tread water. The guys also touch on the Detroit Tigers turning their season around but not gaining any gound in the AL Central and Detroit losing a sports talk radio station in a format switch. Eno and Big Al also play The Birthday Game and name their Jerk of the Week! Long-time Detroit sports bloggers and podcasters, Greg Eno (aka the man who knows a lot of things about a lot of things), and Big Al Beaton are The Knee Jerks!
