Long-time Detroit sports bloggers and podcasters, Greg Eno (aka the man who knows a lot of things about a lot of things), and Big Al Beaton are The Knee Jerks! This week The Knee Jerks take a deep dive into several topics, starting with the problems swirling around the struggling Detroit Pistons, who are on the verge of throwing away what looked to a sure playoff spot. Has the team stopped listening to Stan Van Gundy? Should SVG concentrate on just being the team president or coach, rather than trying to serve both masters? Are the players to blame for the collaspe? Has the time come to move on from Andre Drummnd and/or Reggie Jackson? Would the fanbase even care if they did? With spring training soon coming to an end, Eno and Big Al also discuss the latest Detroit Tigers news coming out of Lakeland, including Anibal Sanchez seemingly redescovering his ability to pitch, Mark Lowe being released desite being owed $5.5 million, JD Martinez suffering a foot injury which will keep him off the field for the next month, and Anthony Gose switching positions from outfielder to pitcher. The guys end a jam packed show by covering the respective NCAA tournament runs of Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans, branching out into a dicussion as to how John Beilen and Tom Izzo develop players. As always, Eno and Big Al also play The Birthday Game and name their Jerk of the Week!
