Dubbed "The First Lady of Portland Blues”, she was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2020, and currently fronts the LaRhonda Steele band, and serves as music director of the non-profits: Portland Interfaith Gospel Choir, These Are They of Bethel AME, and the Portland Center for Spiritual Living.
