Queer Soul Experience with Jenni Chapman
Manage episode 331285329 series 3320294
Jenni Chapman's tryst with photography dates back to her earliest days as a child. Born to a passionate, photography-loving mom, she remembers being "sucked" into the world of the lens and being probably one of the "most photographed" children of the late 90s and early 2000s. Jenni has seen almost every essential memory make it to the pages of a timeless scrapbook -- from Halloween costume shoots and birthday shoots to random-Tuesday-shoots, she's seen them all for really long!
Reminiscing about her life's journey on the podcast today, Jenni reveals that part of photography that fuels her soul: capturing invaluable stories and memories. A pretty photograph doesn't just appease your eyes but your heart and soul by refreshing those lived experiences once again.
A positive, confident, and authentic soul, Jenni's work revolves around bringing the BEST of you into the photograph and the world. As a queer, neurodivergent photographer and (occasional) theater actress, Jenni is the most vibrant photographer for proud LGBTQ+ members and helps bring out even her camera-shy friends to be comfortable around the lens.
In today's episode, Jenni shares her beautiful journey through life, her earliest memories of loving photography, falling in love + getting engaged to her partner of five years, Ali, and overcoming the everyday challenges and beauties of proudly representing the LGBTQ+ community. You'll want to stick around to hear all about the new life change Queer Soul Experience she has created, and you can be a part of it too! Sit back for a real, heart-warming, and nourishing conversation and learn to appreciate the uniqueness you're blessed with in life!
