"The Cost of Following / When God Intervenes"
Galatians 5:1, 13–25
Luke 9:51–62
As Jesus “sets His face to go to Jerusalem,” He walks the path toward the cross and invites others to follow Him. But following Jesus isn’t always easy. It means letting go of old ways, comforts, and distractions. It means walking in the Spirit, not in the desires of the flesh.
This Sunday, we’ll reflect on what it truly costs when God is at work in our lives not in a way that burdens us, but in a way that frees us. As Paul writes, “For freedom Christ has set us free.” That freedom transforms how we live, how we serve, and how we love.
Join us as we consider the real cost and the incomparable joy of God's work in our lives. This service includes American Sign Language (ASL) translation and is open to all, no matter your background or church experience. We gather as people longing for hope, seeking healing, and rejoicing in the One who restores us.
