• False teachers aren’t passive—they pursue and prey.

• They worm their way into homes and hearts, especially targeting the weak and vulnerable.

• Like Jannes and Jambres who opposed Moses, these false teachers oppose truth and are ultimately disqualified from the faith.

• But Paul assures us: “they will not get very far.” God’s truth will expose their folly.

Not all influences are worth following. In a culture full of deception and self-worship, we must be discerning. Avoid those who merely appear godly. Follow the example of Christ—the one whose life and words were perfectly aligned.
