Below The Belt Show (www.belowthebeltshow.com) presents exclusive interviews with 2024 Tribeca Festival (tribecafilm.com/) selected films' creators and actors! BTB's own Al Sotto is on location of the premiere of the coming-of-age comedy "Griffin In Summer" and talks to the cast and producers! Everett Blunck who plays Griffin talks about the audition process, leading his first feature film and working closely with co-star Owen Teague. Owen Teague talks about how he was immediately drawn to his character as a chain-smoking alcoholic player and how challenging the role was. Owen also talks about his portrayal of Noa in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and how the actors trained in an "ape school" learning how to properly walk and perform the proper motion capture of apes. In addition, we talk to cast members Johanna Colon, Ian Hernandez-Oropeza and Gordon Rock who talk about their characters and their thoughts on being in such a high caliber film festival that is Tribeca. Ending the interview, we talk to best friends an actresses Camila Mendes and Rachel Matthews who produced the film and why they decided to work behind the camera for this project.
