The Day The Earth Stood Still is a bonafide classic of the sci-fi genre, so there was understandably much hesitation from movie buffs when it was announced there would be a remake in 2008 starring Keanu Reeves. Although a moderate financial success, the new version did not win over critics or supplant the original in many people's eyes. This week we take a second look to find what this reboot got right!
