• Allie in Macon: My garden was doing great, but I noticed my tomatoes were disappearing. I thought it may have been mice. My husband said he thought that someone took them. So it turned out that my neighbor snuck into our backyard and stole them. We turned one of the patio cameras towards the garden and we caught my neighbor on video stealing. She apologized and offered to pay for the tomatoes. I do not trust her now and I told her to never speak to me again. My husband is saying I was too harsh. Am I wrong for how I handled that thief?

• Silas in the Bay Area: I got married right out of high school and I’m 62 years old. I haven’t cheated on my wife in the past 20 years but I’m getting the itch for something new. My wife is my best friend and we tell each other everything so I’m torn between being honest about how I feel and just going for it and then pray that she never finds out. I know that I shouldn’t tell her but is there a chance she might understand?
