Today Trista is joined by an old friend and pro kayaker, Brad Ludden. Founder of the charity First Descents, Brad offers free adventure therapy for young adults with cancer and multiple sclerosis, their caregivers, and, this year, introduced programs for frontline workers. Trista and Brad discuss his upbringing in Montana as a professional kayaker (since the age of 13!), the genesis of his organization, and the remarkable benefits of adventure therapy. This episode highlights the positive impact that nature and community can have on your spirit. Anyone can experience the healing benefits of outdoor adventure, and in this episode, Brad teaches us all not to be afraid of a challenge.
