As part of National Farm Safety Week from September 15th to the 21st, we are continuing our farm safety series. This series bring on different farm families to share their real-life experiences to raise awareness about farm dangers, help other agricultural families prepare, and offer support after accidents.
In this powerful and emotional episode, we sit down with Madi Kerr, a young woman from a multi-generational Indiana farm, to share a story of unimaginable loss and resilience. Maddie recounts the tragic day her family lost her brother, Kyle, in a grain entrapment accident at just 13 years old. With heartfelt honesty, Madi opens up about the impact of that day, the strength of her family, and the role their tight-knit community played in supporting them during their darkest time.
This episode is a sobering reminder of the importance of farm safety and the enduring power of family and community in the face of tragedy. If even one farm family learns from Kyle's story, Madi's bravery in sharing will have made a lasting difference. Tune in to hear this moving conversation about loss, love, and how farm life continues in the face of unimaginable grief.

Listen, learn, and honor Kyle’s legacy with us.
