In the morning session, defense attorney Teny Geragos pressed Jane about intimate details of her relationship with Combs, especially his “hotel nights” or “freak-offs.” She admitted that these events involved group sex with male escorts, drug use, and coercion—recalling one particularly violent 2024 incident where Combs physically attacked her and then ordered her to perform oral sex on another man while he watched.
As the defense continued, they honed in on Jane’s emotional attachment to Combs. Under cross-examination, she read aloud numerous affectionate text messages—declarations of love and gratitude—that visibly rattled her and led to tears. Geragos used these messages to argue that her relationship with Combs was based on affection and voluntary involvement, not coercion. Though deeply emotional at points, Jane stood firmly by her account that, despite those feelings, she was compelled to participate in the encounters described as abusive.
Jane's testimony is scheduled to continue after lunch and be finished by the end of proceedings on June 12th.
