"I was bowled over by the ambitiousness of it. I'd never seen anything like this." - Keith Carradine

Welcome Keith Carradine:

We’re joined on the Starline by legendary actor and musician. You’ve seen him in “Hair”, “The Will Rogers Follies”, “Deadwood”, “Dexter” and more than 150 projects. Golden Globe, Oscar winner and Hall of Great Western Performers, we welcome Keith Carradine.

Keith, let’s go Beyond the Mic. Your latest project is “The Devil and the Daylong Brothers”. “…but there ain’t no take backs with the devil” What makes this role as Nehemiah Daylong so much fun for you?

What made working with Brendan, Nican, and Jordon great for you?

How do you chose roles today, does it have to be something special or are you always ready for something different?

The Rockin' 8:

It’s time for the Rockin’ 8, 8 random questions, answer with the first thing that comes to your mind. There is no Pressure.

1. If you hadn’t chosen acting or musician as a career path, what would you have loved to do as a career?

2. Favorite Broadway musical that you didn’t star in?

3. If you had to pick one type of character to play for the rest of your life, would it be the good guy or the bad guy?

4. Favorite Western movie of all time?

5. Which role is the one that didn’t get the love you thought it should have?

6. The Impossible Choice. What’s the best of the following: Gunsmoke, Maverick, Rawhide or Wagon Train?

7. What was your favorite memory of your palomino Taco?

8. (I know you hate reboots, but) If you could reboot an old Western for today, what would you choose?

Sneaking in One More:

Why will people be surprised by “The Devil and the Daylong Brothers”?

One Big Question:

What would your dad think about all the success and all the blessings the Carradine family has had in a career well spent?

Where can people see “The Devil and the Daylong Brothers”?

What are you working on NEXT?

The Wrap:

Keith would love to see a reboot of Maverick and still has fond memories of his horse Taco. He wants you to watch “The Devil and the Daylong Brothers”. The legendary Keith Carradine, thanks for taking the time to talk with us today.

And that my friends is a Beyond the Mic Short Cut.
