Dr. Curtis Boodoo is a Caribbean-based engineer and academic specializing in sustainable energy, with over 15 years of experience in renewable energy, electric mobility, and regional energy policy. As an Assistant Professor at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, he leads research in clean energy transitions.
He has advised organizations such as the UNDP, UNEP, GIZ, and the IDB, contributing to key projects across the Caribbean, including electric mobility programs, solar PV deployment, and hydrogen feasibility studies. Dr. Boodoo also serves in advisory roles with CARICOM, the UNFCCC, and the International Electrotechnical Commission. He holds a Ph.D. in fluid mechanics and a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
