a spotlight on the Scripture, Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. Some people live for pleasure, and some people chase pleasure and think they have everything. But as they grow older and realize they’re nearing the end of life, things become tough. Have you ever seen famous or wealthy people at a charity event on TV? Even with jokes being told, no one looks happy.
The Bible says The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.' This means true blessings allow you to enjoy God's goodness. Money and good health are nice, but they're not necessarily biblical blessings. Many people have these things but don't feel blessed or happy. They lack God's peace and satisfaction, so even 'good' things can make them unhappy. Listen to me, when God gives you His goodness, He also gives you joy, peace, and satisfaction, no matter what your situation is in life."
