Millennium #2, (Seriously Buffalo Trace?) Crown Gets Jacked, Sonic Whiskey, Review of 1792 Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon Whiskey
Manage episode 498500424 series 3584600
This week, I take a closer look at 1792 Bottled-in-Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey to see if it deserves a spot on your shelf. Just honest tasting and unvarnished truth.
I also break down the latest unicorn bait from Buffalo Trace: Sazerac 100, Weller Millennium #2, and even Weller 18. Will you ever see one in the wild? Not unless you know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy in Kentucky.
Also in the whiskey multiverse: a distillery in California is aging barrels by blasting them with music. They’re calling it “sonic aging.” I’m calling BS and giving it the roast it absolutely earned.
Then it’s time to dig into the $100 million lawsuit aimed at Nearest Green Distillery. Missing barrels, Martha’s Vineyard real estate, and creative accounting so bold it might qualify as performance art.
Oh, and someone stole a truckload of Crown Royal. If you see a guy rolling around hawking velvet bags and poor decisions, send him our way.
Pour something bottled, bonded, and BS-free, and let’s get after it.
