Hi friend, season blues got you feeling deflated? Stress, loss, logistics, and comparison can all feel very heavy in our hearts. And yet, the pressure to be cheery & merry around this time of year can also keep us from freely talking about it.
And ... stress can be good! Well, useful. It serves as a signal that we need time to heal, or that something needs to change.
Sometimes, though, we really can't avoid stress. The next best thing (bonus: it's immediate) is redirecting our attention to gratitude, the little things that help us feel grounded, and try to find wonder in the world again. πŸ’—πŸŒ
In this audio, we face and validate our emotions: the holidays can suck sometimes! Yes! Not to be a scrooge or scrinch (scrinch?), it's just true. But we then shift things so we can look ahead at what we look forward to and some things we enjoy.
Spoiler: There's hot cocoa involved.
I'm glad you woke up today, friend. We'll wake up tomorrow.
