On this episode the Cabin Culture Podcast, Yani Brannley, owner of Serenitree Stays, shares her journey of starting a cabin rental business in North Carolina. She was introduced to cabin culture later in life thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic and her husband's illness inspired them to seek solace in the mountains. Yani explains the financial considerations and market trends they considered before investing in cabins, her insights on the importance of creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere in each cabin through thoughtful decor and amenities, and the challenges and rewards of managing the rehab and renovation process, including finding local contractors and navigating structural work.
