Giancarlo Paolillo, a developer, and his wife Sherrie Sims found themselves as primary caregivers for their parents who did not live nearby. It was a constant stress juggling work, children and their own relationship while being pulled an hour away to care for their loved ones. Giancarlo began looking at phone apps and was frustrated that he had to use several apps to manage care and schedules. So he, and his wife, built Watch Our Own, the first all-in-one phone app with custom-built technology to streamline caregiving, groups, tasks and more for family caregivers in one place.
