Therman talks to us about how SharePoint is more relevant than ever.
Therman Trotman is not your typical "IT Guy." With over 22 years of experience in the IT industry, Therman has helped hundreds of users improve their work using Microsoft 365 tools. He is passionate about showing people how technology can enhance their lives, making them simpler, more productive, and more efficient.
His journey began in 2009 when he worked as a video teleconferencing technician. It was during this time that he automated scheduling processes using SharePoint, a move that dramatically improved his workflow and sparked his interest in SharePoint's potential.
In 2019, Therman began supporting another organization with SharePoint services as an independent consultant. This ultimately led to the creation of KJA Consulting. By 2021, he made the decision to focus on his business full-time.
Recognizing the need for all users with access to SharePoint to understand its true capabilities, Therman launched the SharePoint Helpdesk. With Microsoft integrating SharePoint into the 365 suite, he saw an opportunity to empower end users to unlock its full potential. Today, the SharePoint Helpdesk exists to bridge the gap between end users and SharePoint, helping them replace outdated processes with more efficient, effective ways of working, improving both their work and their lives.
