Swagger boosts the attack of the target but also confuses it, so it might hit itself on a future turn (with boosted damage)
Focus Sash guarantees that a Pokémon at full health will hang on through 1 attack with 1 hit point
Rock Slide can make the target flinch, unable to act that turn
Trick Room makes slower Pokémon move first
Paralysis reduces speed and might stop the Pokémon moving
