📖 Summary of Judges 15

In Judges 15, Samson’s story continues with drama and revenge. After some time, Samson goes back to visit his wife with a gift—a young goat—but finds out her father gave her to another man. Angry, Samson catches 300 foxes, ties torches to their tails, and releases them into the Philistine grain fields, vineyards, and olive groves, burning everything.

The Philistines retaliate by burning Samson’s wife and her father. In response, Samson attacks them viciously. He then hides in a cave. The Philistines march into Judah demanding Samson. The people of Judah, scared, go to Samson and tie him up to hand him over. But when the Philistines approach, Samson breaks free, finds a jawbone of a donkey, and uses it to kill 1,000 men.At the end, Samson prays to God, exhausted and thirsty. God miraculously provides water from a rock, and Samson is revived.
