It's claimed that a growing number of working families are now presenting at homeless shelters in Clare due to the housing crisis. The Department of Housing's latest monthly report shows that 90 adults were living in emergency accommodation here at the end of March. More than half of those now accessing homeless supports in the MidWest are aged between 25 and 44. Shannon Sinn Féin Representative and Homeless family support worker Shane Doody says the lack of housing must be urgently addressed.
