Tributes are being paid to a stalwart of Clare camogie who was said to have left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Catherine Tobin from Ennis who dedicated years to coaching teams at the Banner Camogie Club and Clare Camogie passed away peacefully this week at Milford Hospice. She also spent 20 years as a Special Needs Assistant at St. Joseph's Secondary School Tulla, which has described her as having a rare gift for connecting with others and making every student feel seen, supported and encouraged. Catherine is survived by her daughter Clara, her parents, siblings and wide circle of friends, and, will be laid to rest today following a funeral mass in Ennis Cathedral at 11am. Clare Camogie PRO Bríd McNamara says she was a simply incredible individual.
