The second part of our interview with legendary songwriter Jim Vallance begins with a fascinating tale from Jim about how he wrote the Aerosmith song "Rag Doll "with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. The interview continues with many other legendary rock and roll stories, including when Quincy Jones, who had completed work on “We Are The World,” turned to Jim Vallance to compose a song for Canadian artists to sing for famine relief. The song “Tears Are Not Enough,” also co-written by David Foster, Bryan Adams, Rachel Paiement, Paul Hyde, and Bob Rock, would appear on the We Are The World album.
