Nothing is easy, at least not in the beginning. The two hardest parts of accomplishing a goal are the beginning and the end. This is where most of the challenge lies. Today I want to bring you 10 ways you can make what seems impossible, possible. A lot of things were impossible until they were done:

· Landing on the moon

· Running and breaking the 4-minute barrier in the mile: fun fact, once done it has been repeated many times. From what I was able to find, as of June 2022, more than 1,755 athletes have broken the 4-minute mile barrier.

· Space travel and so much more

These are ten ways I want to give you so you can succeed in closing your own 18-inch gap. Ways to unlock your potential and open your eyes to what is possible if you only believe and put any or all of these ten points to work for you.

Quote of the week: "The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination." - Tommy Lasorda

Points covered:

1. Acknowledge Where You Are Without Judgment Start by recognizing how you feel right now—overwhelmed, scared, or frustrated. Resist the urge to criticize yourself for not being “further along.”

2. Reignite Your ‘Why’ Ask yourself: Why did you dream this dream in the first place? Often, the passion that birthed your goal gets buried beneath fear and doubt.

3. Shift ‘I Can’t’ to ‘How Can I?’ The words you use shape your reality. Replace defeatist thoughts with empowering questions like, “How can I make this work?”

4. Visualize the Finish Line Close your eyes and see yourself living the reality of your dream. Feel the joy, pride, and peace that come with success.

5. Rewrite the Story in Your Head What narrative is running on repeat? “I’m not good enough” or “It’s too late for me”? Challenge these thoughts by rewriting them: “I am capable, and my time is now.”

6. Commit to 15 Minutes of Action Daily Dedicate just 15 minutes every day to your dream, even if it feels small. Over time, those minutes compound into tangible progress.

7. Detach from the Outcome Focusing too much on the result can paralyze you. Shift your energy to enjoying the process instead.

8. Embrace the Power of 'Yet' Replace “I can’t do this” with “I can’t do this yet.” The word “yet” reminds you that growth is ongoing.

9. Create a Vision Board Put your dream into tangible form by creating a visual representation of it. Fill your board with images, words, and symbols that excite you.

10. Write a Letter to Your Future Self Imagine yourself a year from now, having achieved your dream. Write a letter describing how proud you are of the journey you’ve taken.

Bonus points… 4 more because these are too good to leave behind:

11. Start Before You Feel Ready Waiting for readiness is just procrastination in disguise. Start messy, start scared—just start. Clarity and confidence come from action, not overthinking.

12. Embody Your Future Self Act today as if you’ve already achieved your dream. How would you dress, speak, and make decisions?

13. Write a Fear Inventory List every fear holding you back and address them one by one. Ask yourself, “Is this fear based on fact or assumption?”

14. Decide That You’re Worth It At the end of the day, achieving your dream boils down to this: Do you believe you’re worthy of it? The answer must be yes.
