Today I'm thrilled to be joined by Mathias Memmel ๐จโโ๏ธ, a lawyer at Fasken specializing in litigation and dispute resolution โ๏ธ.
Mathias brings a unique and multifaceted perspective to our conversation. He holds a Doctor of Law degree from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School ๐, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Political Science ๐ป๐๏ธ, and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance ๐ต, both from the University of Toronto.
His diverse background includes serving as President of the University of Toronto Students' Union ๐, working as a Communications Advisor for a Toronto City Councillor ๐๏ธ, and even directing music for various churches and choirs ๐ผ. Mathias has also been actively involved in LGBTQ+ advocacy ๐ณ๏ธโ๐, including work with The 519, a prominent LGBTQ+ community center in Toronto.
