In this video, Neil Urch, co-founder and managing director of Housefox Estate Agents, is discussing the impact of the current economy on his business. Despite initial concerns, the year has started off positively for Housefox, with sales coming in thick and fast. Neil attributes this to the fact that there will always be people who need to move for various reasons, such as downsizing or upsizing. He also notes that the Southwest region, including Western Super Mare and Bristol, have become a popular place to live since the pandemic began, as more people are moving out of cities and looking for more value for money in housing. Neil also discusses that COVID has taught people that they don't need to live as close to where they work, leading to more people having bigger houses and smaller mortgages. Overall, Neil suggests that it's important to do your own research and not rely solely on the media's portrayal of the housing market.
Conversation with Angie & Mike is a Podcast & Vlog with interesting people from all walks of life. We discuss everything and anything, usually touching on Mental Health as both Mike & Angie are Trustees of Somewhere House Somerset, a mental health counselling charity based in Somerset, England.
