In today’s special release episode, host Shay Beider speaks with Katie Frazee and Patty Atkins to discuss the story behind Integrative Touch therapy. Katie is the VP of programs and community wellness at Integrative Touch and Patty is a member of the TeleWellness Healing Team. Both women regularly practice Integrative Touch Therapy and support the development of the work. Today, the trio discuss the therapy that Shay created and has been practicing for more than 20 years, with the help and wisdom of many others. Shay dives into her vision that ultimately led her to pioneer the therapy used at the Integrative Touch Healing Center. She discusses some of the core principles that guide and inform this therapeutic approach and how it is practiced. Additionally, Shay talks about Integrative Touch Therapy in relationship to ancient forms of medicine as well as modern western medicine. This episode guides the listeners through an introduction to Integrative Touch Therapy, as Shay explains the inner intelligence and deep knowledge that is found in each one of us.
