Laura received her BA in Anthropology (1984) and Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology (2022). She is a certified Intercultural Practitioner and a Qualified Intercultural Development Inventory Administrator. Laura is also a certified facilitator/trainer for competency-building programs, including Cultural Detective, Emotional Intelligence in Diversity, and Pathways to Racial Reconciliation. In 2017 she produced the film The Harps in the Trees illustrating the connection between harps, music, and nature. Her 2023 recording with the Silicon Valley girl’s choir iSing, love & light , was put up for a Grammy nomination. Dr. Fulton is currently on the faculty of UC Berkeley, has a private studio in the San Francisco Bay Area and on Zoom, and offers online courses through her “Harp Secrets” programs. She went on to write Free-Range Kids , the book-turned-movement that basically says OUR KIDS ARE SMARTER AND SAFER THAN OUR CULTURE GIVES THEM CREDIT FOR! Lenore has lectured everywhere from DreamWorks to Microsoft to Harvard Med School, Yale Child Study Center — and the Bulgarian Happiness Festival! (For real.) On TV, you may have seen her on The Today Show , The Daily Show , or her own reality show, World’s Worst Mom . Now Lenore is co-founder and president of Let Grow , the nonprofit promoting childhood independence and resilience. She lives in New York City with her husband and beloved computer. But now she's so serious that her piece “ Independence as Therapy ” was in The New York Times . “Teacher Tom” Hobson is an early childhood educator, international speaker, education consultant, teacher of teachers, parent educator, and author. He is best known, however, for his namesake blog, Teacher Tom's Blog , where he has posted daily for over a decade, chronicling the life and times of his little preschool in the rain-soaked Pacific Northwest corner of the USA. For nearly two decades, Teacher Tom was the sole employee of the Woodland Park Cooperative School, a parent-owned and operated school knit together by Teacher Tom's democratic, progressive play-based pedagogy. Teacher Tom came into teaching through the backdoor, so to speak, having enrolled his own child in a cooperative preschool, where he began working daily in his daughter's classroom as an assistant teacher under the tutelage of veteran educators — although he'll be the first to tell you that most of what he learned came from the children themselves. When it was time for his daughter to move on, he “stayed behind.” Today, Teacher Tom shares his play-based pedagogy through online e-courses for early childhood educators; produces online early childhood conferences; consults with organizations about his "Family Schools" program; and inspires early-years audiences around the world (Greece, UK, Iceland, Australia, China, Vietnam, New Zealand, Canada, and across the US) both virtually and in-person with his engaging views on early childhood education, play, and pedagogy. From reading your dreams, he can give clear direction on your life purpose, reveal the gifts that you brought with you to help achieve that purpose, and uncover the blocks you need to overcome in order to step into alignment. With a focus on helping clients heal childhood trauma, Michael launched his first course in 1992. In 2012, he added online courses to his offerings, and by 2015, after much experimentation, he switched entirely to an online hybrid model using the Ruzuku platform. The hybrid model greatly increased course reach, course efficiency, and course effectiveness, and laid the framework for many later courses. Welcome to Behind the Launch ! This 8-episode podcast pulls back the curtain on the ups and downs of launching a product or service. Cynthia Lamb is director of podcasts at Mirasee FM, where she produces or supervises the production of 11 podcasts (and counting). She got her start at the venerable University of Missouri-Columbia’s School of Journalism, where she was trained in broadcast journalism, served as the program director of KCOU radio, and worked as a television reporter for the NBC affiliate. For the NPR affiliate, she produced and wrote long-form radio documentaries – what we would call “podcasts” today. After her move to San Francisco, Cynthia worked as a producer on several documentary films before making her way to publishing. For the 15 years prior to joining Mirasee, she worked as a ghostwriter for prominent and start-up business coaches. She was also the managing editor for Six-Figure Newsletters, which is now under the Mirasee umbrella. Cynthia has ghostwritten more than 750 articles and 9 books of nonfiction. She is the author of two novels, the acclaimed Brigid’s Charge and the forthcoming, The Sister I Never Forgot . She has a Bachelor of Journalism (BJ) from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in English/Creative Writing from Mills College. Chantill is a 20-year movement educator, international presenter, and mentor. She is the founder of the education company, Skillful Teaching, the creator of the Thinking Pilates Podcast and author of two books on teaching, Moving Beyond Technique, and soon to be released Teaching (Movement) Matters (2020). Chantill’s work currently focuses on teaching and learning from the whole-person and whole-body perspective, drawing from brain-based learning frameworks, motivation and communication science, somatic and humanistic psychology, and other cutting edge models such as the Polyvagal Theory and those promoting full-body tissue integration, fascial-oriented training, and nervous system regulation. She’s recently created and launched a new teaching framework called Integrative Movement Facilitation. Chantill is a master trainer for one of the largest Pilates education companies in the world, Balanced Body Inc, a featured presenter for Fusion Pilates EDU, and the creator of one of Pilates Metrics’ original movement libraries.
