AI is the latest technology to spark innovation in the art world. Artist Mario Klingemann, creator of “Memories of Passersby 1” which was auctioned by Sotheby’s in 2019, talks about his work and the future of art.

Machine learning technologies like Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) are accelerating progress in the automation of creative output. While Mario is best-known for his visual art he is shifting his attention to text-based output, which he sees as ripe for pioneering work.
