In this sermon, Pastor David continues our exploration of God's divine nature and humanity's condition. Two weeks ago, we marveled at how God is both personal and powerful. Last week, we reflected on the sacredness of humanity, created in the image of God, with inherent worth and value. Today, we confront a hard truth: humanity is also deeply sinful. What is sin? How does it affect every part of our lives? From the first story of Cain and Abel to the brokenness in our world today—violence, greed, addiction, and pride—sin’s devastating consequences are evident. The Bible shows us that sin isn’t just something we do; it’s a condition that separates us from God. But there’s hope. In understanding the depth of our sin, we begin to see the greatness of God’s mercy and grace. Join as Pastor David examines scripture, wrestles with difficult truths, and prepare our hearts for the next chapter in God’s redemptive story.
