The network aims to bridge the gap between local initiatives and collaborative projects, making it easier for individuals and organizations to discover and engage in community-building efforts. Magenta discusses the challenges faced by grassroots organizers and the need for sustainable financial models. She also highlights the importance of community organizing, healing, and skill-building in creating a more resilient and interconnected world. Bloom Network is launching a social network that financially incentivizes community members to join and contribute. They are starting with a $12,700 grant pool and individuals are rewarded with the cooperative patronage token for their participation. The local Bloom hubs also receive a portion of the flow tokens based on the participation of their community members.
