Welcome back to CYBERPUNK CINEMA - the definitive dive into the dark future of science fiction. In this week's episode, I will breakdown STRANGE DAYS (1995), a certifiable cyberpunk masterpiece. To me, this is definitely in the Top Ten CPUNK! I saw this film in the theater when I was 16, and I absolutely loved it! It was directed by Kathryn Bigelow and co-written/co-produced by James Cameron. This cyberpunk techno-thriller hits all the hallmarks of the genre, and has recently been re-discovered by a newer generation since the film was stuck in DVD/BluRay jail for years, and could not be seen by the public until MAX finally released it recently. Check it out! It's incredible.
