Days of our Lives suggests a potential split between fan favorites Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Spoilers suggest that Eric and Nicole, who recently attended the Salem High School graduation ceremony, are headed for a break-up, which could lead to some exciting new storylines on the NBC Peacock soap opera.

DOOL sees the estrangement between the couple was hinted at during the graduation, where they were seen sitting on opposite sides of the auditorium, with Nicole leaving immediately after the ceremony. Eric confirmed that the couple isn't on good terms currently. The couple's on-again, off-again relationship has been a significant plot point in the show, and this recent turn of events has left fans wondering if the end of the 'Ericole' era is in sight. Recent episodes have further indicated a growing distance between Eric and Nicole, with Eric making solo appearances at significant events like the funeral of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and the wedding of Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) and Andrew Donovan (Colton Little). The absence of Nicole at these events further fuels the speculation of a break-up.

Days of our Lives sees the return of Nicole Walker appears uncertain due to ongoing behind-the-scenes issues involving actress Arianne Zucker, who is currently in a lawsuit against NBC, the executive producer, and a former producer and director.
