Young and the Restless sees Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is planning a strategic assault on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). He has identified a list of potential allies and targets that could either help him or become collateral damage in the looming battle in Genoa City. Cane sneaks away from France to meet with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), leaving party guests, including Victor, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), suspicious. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), Cane's lawyer and co-conspirator, insists that Cane has changed, although her confidence seems dubious.

Y&R sees Cane's plan involves Holden and some dubious commercial real estate transactions in Genoa City. It becomes clear that Cane has enlisted Holden, under the guise of unemployment, to befriend and target key individuals, including Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Young and Restless sees Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) offers himself as an ally to Cane, but it is a bid to reclaim Chancellor Industries from the Newmans. However, the Winters family's loyalties lie in a delicate balance, their lingering resentment towards Victor potentially pushing them to align with the Newmans against Cane and Billy. Chelsea spots Cane at Crimson Lights Cafe after Holden leaves. As a former con artist, Chelsea's suspicions are immediately aroused, and she rushes to warn Adam. The revelation that Cane is Dumas sets off a chain of events that might change the course of the impending clash.
