Professor of Economics and Philosophy at George Mason University, the director of the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, BB&T Professor for the Study of Capitalism at the Mercatus Center, and senior fellow at the Fraser Institute, Peter J. Boettke, joins me this week to discuss the politics and economics of the Soviet Union, and how they eventually shifted to more open markets.
