It was a beautiful Summer Day in Sarasota, Florida on July 15, 1974. At local station WXLT, news anchor Christine Chubbuck was reading the morning’s top headlines. Little did anyone know she was about to make broadcasting history by pulling out a gun and shooting herself. Many horrified people saw it unfold live on the airwaves. But then the clip disappeared from the airwaves, never to be seen by the public again. How is that possible?

Oh, and you may want to download this podcast for your archive. Just in case. So without further ado, let’s get lost… today on Death in Entertainment!
