I remember having little kids and people saying, “it goes fast.” That’s a lie...because it goes by even faster! While I have a full life with friends and work I enjoy, I still find myself looking at the phone hoping to hear from one of my three boys. And it happens a lot. Is it normal? Yup. But not if it consumes us to the point where we can’t enjoy life. And that’s where “Life After Kids” comes in.
Drs. Lynne and Brooke help us step into that next level with purpose. It can be small or it can be big, but it’s a necessary step to finding fulfillment without our kids under one roof. Do I secretly wish my kids would all live here, or next door, or even in the next town? Yup. But they don’t, at least not now. So I’m figuring it out like everyone else.
