Today’s episode is Part 2 of my interview with Darrell. If you missed Part 1, make sure to go back and listen to the previous episode where we discover and dive deep into Darrell’s childhood, how he became a part of a gang, this feeling of Power when he felt invincible in the gang and how he used this to get revenge, his best friend who was murdered and so much more.

Darrell has one of those stories where he grew up in often ranked as one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S. Richmond, California, from going into prison and then making a better life for himself. Darrell from a young age, ended up in a gang & was incarcerated as both a juvenile and a young adult. The 23-year-old was looking at a substantial amount of jail time when a judge showed him some leniency. Darrell was finishing his sentence in county jail when he made a promise to himself that he will create a better life for himself.

Fast forward to today, Darrell Jobe is the CEO & Founder of Vericool. Vericool delivers sustainable insulation thermal coolers that protects products, people and the planet.

In today's episode we discuss:

  • The turning point for him from working full time to then plunging into entrepreneurship.
  • Where he started when first establishing the packaging Company.
  • How he managed to raise millions for his start-up.
