It’s a three book day if you decide to stay. Ok so yes I said it that just because it rhymes. So but consider this that John wrote His gospel which is quite most powerful and one day I will record the entire gospel as I am doing with these other books. Of note he also wrote these three books along with being the scribe for Jesus as He revealed the book of Revelation to John. We can almost get spiritually inebriated at the thought that Paul wrote much of the new testament and why not as his level of revelation was as Peter stated, “hard to understand.”

2 Peter 3:16 - as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

Well but so if we were to consider the depth of the writings and revelation, John was right there with him in that some of the things John shared are also hard to understand. But also when you get the revelation of those things in spending time with God, it feels like otherworldly. And but I know it is spiritual and it has quite a bit to do with us and our position to God so I will stop jabbering so as to prove the point.

So one day I decided to record me reading the book of Ephesians, James, Colossians, 1st & 2nd Thessalonians, 1st & 2nd Peter, & 1st & 2nd Timothy without adding any commentary or narrative nor any chapter or verse references. I noticed that these messages have been liked by quite a few listeners so I thought I would try to do so with a few more books of the bible. I am not sure how far I will go in this direction as I also get other messages as well. I will try and mix them in between.

I do think it is a good idea because you can get the entire book in just a few minutes. Front to back without interruption. Now I say that but just reading the bible is not sufficient for learning, so God gave us teachers as well, but also told us that faith without works is dead (James 2:20). This is however one way of getting through the books of the bible. Your spirit, new man, inner man, the Holy Spirit, and your heart depend on your getting the word down inside of you. If your Christianity is a dead work, it is because of a lack of bible reading time as well as a lack of bible doing time.

So this message is not about teaching or by breaking down the books of 1st, 2nd, & 3rd John, but simply providing you an opportunity to seek the nuggets for yourself. This message my friends is about listening. Listen to the words, to the sentences, hear in your very spirit what marvelous things are being said, and how they apply to you.

So, I will read all three books. Consider that this could easily have been one church service. Yes, getting all that you are about to hear from just a little more than a few pages in just one church service.

Hosea 6:3 – “…Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord…”

2nd Tim 2:15 - Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1st Tim 5:17 - 17 Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

Well, get your notepad ready and get ready to be astounded at what you are about to hear.
