In this episode, Michael and Yanru begin by defining multimedia and what it means to use the multimedia principle in a learning environment. They speak on ways they've used multimedia in courses both as students and as instructors. They also bring up a reading from another class–Technology and Instructional Design–the Fish Story used in Donovan and Bransford (2004) Introduction and how multimedia could have helped the poor novice fish visualize life outside that pond.
