It's called the spiritual path because there is a beginning and an ending and we spend most of our lives walking between the two. But contrary to popular belief, not all paths lead to the same destination. And so the spiritual path begins with a search. It begins with the search for a goal.
However, there are some common stages that many individuals may go through during their spiritual awakening journey: Self Reflection & Questioning, Initiating Change, Learn and Seek Support, Crisis or Spiritual Rumbling, Healing & Integration, Transcendence, Integration and Continued Growth.
What are examples of spiritual journeys. Going on a walk in nature — particularly at sunrise or sunset. Creating something new (art, music, poetry, etc.) Listening to music, completely immersed in the experience. Viewing photos of the planet. Participating in rituals that are personally meaningful to you and your culture.
