COP26 is a once in a generation moment. To meet the Paris Climate Agreement targets, emissions must halve by 2030 to meet a 1.5ºC future, but DNV forecasts they will fall by just 9%, and that the world will already exhaust the 1.5ºC budget in 2029.

In this episode Mathias Steck - Service Area Renewables Northern Europe at DNV, is joined by DNV experts, Al-Karim Govindji, Head of Public Affairs Energy Systems, Hari Vamadevan, Senior Vice President, Regional Director UK & Ireland, and Sverre Alvik, Programme Director for the Energy Transition research programme in looking ahead to COP26.
