This week I’m joined by a film maker, Mia Donovan, from Montreal in Canada. Her latest documentary film, Dope is Death, explores how the Black Panthers and the Young Lords became active in their communities helping people come of drugs without any side effects – using acupuncture. This was 1973. And this project was seen as a threat by the US government. Don't forget to subscribe to the show! Music by Mixolydian Studios Sydney (Michiya Nagai and Benjamin Samuels).
