Manage episode 473028448 series 3395486
Tom Spooner, Warriors Heart Founder/President and Master Sergeant (Retired) who served our nation in the U.S. Army for nearly 21 years joins PAIN's Jason LaChance.
Tom primarily served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Since retiring from the military in 2011, Spooner has successfully enabled thousands of warriors to acknowledge their struggles, seek treatment, and understand that they are not alone. Spooner joined forces with successful treatment providers Josh and Lisa Lannon to open Warriors Heart in 2016, which is the first and ONLY private and accredited addiction treatment center in the U.S. that is exclusively for military, veterans, and first responders struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, PTSD, and co-occurring issues.
