Darren Burgess is a world-renowned high-performance specialist & sport scientist who is the current high-performance manager at the Adelaide Crows. He has previously worked alongside Liverpool and Arsenal in the English Premier League, the Socceroos and Port Adelaide & Melbourne in the AFL.

It is very rare for us to take the show to zoom but when we have the opportunity to sit down with a guy like Darren, we take it!

Burgo shares some incredible insight into his world and inside the dressing rooms of some of the largest sporting clubs in the world.

We hear all about his time in England, working alongside Arsenal & Liverpool and the huge personalities of players and managers. From getting people on side and buying into the program, to deadline day transfers and judgment calls, it is quite incredible the world he was thrown into.

Burgo shares both sides of the fence when it comes to players on international duty and the dreaded injury that could occur. Plus, a hairy moment from a tweet gone viral and wrong!

We hear about his first uncomfortable meeting with Mark Williams at Port Adelaide and some crazy training programs he has put players through over the years...one in Dubai particularly stands out!

Show and Tell returns with a great story about the 2021 AFL premiership with the Demons and a hilarious Healthy Male segment too.

This episode is full of insane insight with truly one of the best in the world in his field.

Enjoy our chat with the world-renowned, Darren Burgess!
