Ego-driven relationships are built on fear, control, and emotional separation rather than love and unity. These relationships often involve codependency, where you look to your partner for validation, identity, and happiness instead of providing those things for yourself. The ego creates patterns like blame, defensiveness, people-pleasing, and emotional manipulation that disconnect you from your true self and your partner. Healing begins when you practice self-love, set healthy boundaries, and learn to communicate with honesty and compassion. True relationships thrive when both people are whole, mutually respectful, and committed to growth together.
