Reason # 5 explores the notion that You’re too proud
The topics that support this way of thinking starts with Inflated expectations. This does not mean you should lower your standards. This means you should clarify your definition of who you are first. The following questions are discussed.
i. Can you become first what you want next?
ii. Can you defend your pride with humility?
iii. Can you let it go to please God?
The next 10-minutes discuss how value is placed. Sometimes things that are important to you, may not be the Most important thing. Consider this, if you see the glass 1/2 full & he sees the glass 1/2 empty, aren't you both right? Since both perspectives actually see the same thing, why is it important to make a stand?
When people process in this "All or Nothing" manner, it could be because of being Proud of a Superficial List of things. Superficial things easily fly under the radar & are difficult to detect. When opposed, they surface. The list below is the start of a list of possible superficial things...
i. Dress nice
ii. Look nice
iii. Educated
The last 10 minutes focus on something successful people have in common. They Won’t receive help . This type of person is accustomed to doing their own thing & is used to being in charge. The questions below are all part of the discussion, and revels ways to break down pride so that you can get free from one of the biggest Reasons You're Not Married Yet!
